Accessible Community and OZeWAI are proud to announce a new strategic partnership to deliver the Mutua11y Mentoring Program to support and grow the next generation of Australian digital accessibility experts.
Through this collaboration, Accessible Community will serve as the Mentoring Coordinator, managing the program’s infrastructure, connecting mentors with protégés, and providing educational resources like training and study groups.
OZeWAI joins as a Mentoring Partner, committing to provide highly experienced mentors with at least five years of expertise to guide newcomers in the field.
“We are thrilled to work with OZeWAI Inc. to foster professional growth within the accessibility community,” said Rachael Bradley Montgomery, Executive Director of Accessible Community. “By combining our resources and networks, we can provide mentors and protégés with the tools and connections they need to make the digital world more inclusive.”
As part of the agreement, OZeWAI will manage registration for its members to ensure they are paired with local mentors while also contributing to the international pool of accessibility expertise. The partners will also co-host community events, such as webinars and networking sessions, to further enrich the mentoring experience.
