Centre for Accessibility

Centre for Accessibility

The Centre For Accessibility (CFA) Australia is an industry and not-for-profit collaboration working to promote digital access.

We believe accessibility is about more than compliance; it’s about people.

The digital world is an amazing resource that all of us increasingly rely on; however, the reality for people living with disability is that much of the Internet remains inaccessible.

The CFA Australia coordinates a number of projects designed to reduce the accessibility gap and empower organisations to effectively implement accessibility.

Web Directions

Web Directions logoFounded in Australia in 2004, by long time web industry figures John Allsopp and Maxine Sherrin, (and now run by John), Web Directions conferences bring together the web industry’s leading experts from around the world to educate and inspire.

This year, OZeWAI is extremely grateful to Web Directions for providing their innovative online event platform to host the conference, and doing it in a way that provides some significant accessibility advantages, setting it head and shoulders above similar technology. It truly is awesome.

Microsoft

Microsoft logoThe Microsoft mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. With roughly 1.2 billion people with disabilities in the world, we’re passionate about ensuring that our products and services are designed for people of all abilities.

We are committed to transparency, accountability and inclusion in our products and our culture, and are deeply inspired by the opportunity to work with others around the world to explore what’s possible.

There are no limits to what people can achieve when technology reflects the diversity of everyone who uses it.
