The Australian Accessibility Conference took place online 9-11 December 2020 and what an event it was.
As promised, the 23 conference presentation videos have been uploaded to the OZeWAI YouTube channel and are now available to watch at the OZeWAI December 2020 Playlist.

Hello and welcome!
The Australian Accessibility Conference is the annual gathering of the members of OZeWAI, the Australian Web Adaptability Initiative, along with a wide range of people interested in and committed to digital accessibility and inclusive design.
The Australian Accessibility Conference will bring together the most knowledgeable digital accessibility experts, specialists and researchers from all over the world, as well as leaders in the industry, government and non-profit organisations to explore and support digital inclusion topics and ideas.
Who's presenting?
We have assembled a fantastic international lineup of presenters, addressing topics that set out to challenge, provoke, explore and validate the many ways in which we can progress digital accessibility and inclusive design. Check them out on the Presenters page (more to be added).
Who is it for?
Content creators, content designers, UX designers, researchers, educators, managers, procurement officers, legal experts and of course … accessibility professionals.
Venue
This year's conference will be fully online. It will run over three days from 9-11 December. When you register, you'll receive a username and password you can use to log in to the conference area.

Centre For Accessibility has very generously made available three Xbox Adaptive Controllers (which have played a big part in the rise of accessible gaming, and which also work with any Windows PC) as door prizes.
Just before the Keynote Address on each day of the Conference, a registered attendee will be selected at random and announced as a winner!
Meetups
To make this year's Australian Accessibility Conference interactive and provide an engaging social experience, OZeWAI is supporting the hosting of local meetups around Australia to coincide with key conference sessions.
The Canberra Web Accessibility & Inclusive Design meetup has scheduled a physical get together – following all the COVID rules for social gatherings – allowing them to sit in as a group on Léonie Watson’s keynote presentation at 5pm AEDT on Thursday 10 December.
We’re talking to other meetups around the country to support them to set up similar local events – a great way of combining the conference’s local, national and international focus.
