This article was written by OZeWAI member Ricky Onsman and was originally published on the TPGi website.
Back in November last year, I wrote a blog post listing 20 books on digital accessibility published between 2012 and 2023.
At the time, I commented, “Books?! Are you kidding? Who reads books any more, right?”
That was, of course, tongue in cheek. Personally, I’m a book lover and always will be.
As if to bear out my faith in that position, there has been a bit of an explosion in the publishing of digital accessibility books in the last few years.
So, here are 19 more books on digital accessibility, published between 2019 and 2024.
The eagle-eyed among you will notice that I’ve shifted two late additions to my previous post, both published in 2024, over to this list – I figure they really belong here.
Once again, I’ve listed the formats in which these books are available, but I haven’t included the price as that can vary from format to format. Some have free downloads or are free to read online. Some publishers also include titles in thematic bundles that can also affect the purchase price.
The descriptions come from the publisher or author. These are not reviews, so I’ve used their words.
