OZeWAI was once again privileged to have an information stand at the annual Web Directions Developer Summit in Sydney, 19-20 November 2025.
Over the two days, Charissa Ramirez, Andrew Downie, Matthew Guyan, and Kim Neville welcomed conference participants who visited the OZeWAI accessibility experience lab/exhibitors stand.
Thanks to all who dropped by today at the OZeWAI stand and tested their websites with a screen reader, using keyboard only, or interacted with some of our displays.
Andrew ran NVDA screen reader demonstrations and attended to enquiries about accessible web development and assistive technologies in general.
We also had devices running voice recognition technology such as “Voice Access” on Windows and “Voice Control” on Mac. This is in addition to other devices on display running NVDA and JAWS screen readers on Windows, VoiceOver on Mac and on an iOS mobile device, and TalkBack screen reader on Android.
It was a really productive and engaging two days, and we thank our partners Web Directions for the opportunity to share our digital accessibility message.
