Special topics for 2010

In Australia, the Federal Government has endorsed WCAG 2.0, and subsequently released the Web Accessibility National Transition Strategy which will see all Federal Government websites meeting WCAG 2.0 AA by the end of 2014. This has generated new excitement and interest in Australia around web accessibility and WCAG 2.0. In the technology space, the benefits of HTML5 and WAI-ARIA for people with disabilities is a much discussed topic, as the HTML Accessibility Taskforce works to ensure that HTML 5 provides features to enable Web content to be accessible to people with disabilities.

Conference format

OZeWAI conferences offer hands-on workshops, plenary presentations, informal work sessions, research reports, and time for discussion. The venue is ideal for small group discussion and the program, with lunches and dinners included, will provide opportunities for participants to interact with presenters informally.

Conference costs

We offer one, two or three full days registration with presentations, workshops, a reception, a formal dinner and a wind-up cocktail, as well as the standard morning and afternoon tea and lunch.

All costs include GST. Price includes all social activities.
