Martin Fathers
Director, Disability Liaison Unit

Martin Fathers is currently the Head of the Disability Liaison Unit at RMIT University. Martin has been at RMIT for nearly six years during which time there has been a dramatic increase in the number of students with disabilities at the University. Martin has worked as a Disability Liaison Officer (DLO) since 1989 where he was the inaugural DLO at La Trobe University. Martin is currently the Immediate Past President of Tertiary Education Disability Council of Australia (TEDCA Inc.). TEDCA is the national organisation for disability officers working tertiary education. Martin is also currently a member of the Melbourne City Council Disability Advisory committee.
