Silver: Microsoft Australia (@MSFTenable)
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. With roughly 1.2 billion people with disabilities in the world, we’re passionate about ensuring that our products and services are designed for people of all abilities. We are committed to transparency, accountability and inclusion in our products and our culture, and are deeply inspired by the opportunity to work with others around the world to explore what’s possible. There are no limits to what people can achieve when technology reflects the diversity of everyone who uses it.
Media Access Australia strives for accessibility and inclusion through technology. We’re Australia’s only independent Not-For-Profit organisation dedicated to increasing access to websites, digital media and technology for people with vision, hearing and cognitive disabilities, as well as older Australians, those from non-English-speaking backgrounds, and people with varying levels of education and literacy. In addition to our advocacy efforts, our team works with local, state and federal governments, corporations, educational institutions, and charities to maximise engagement and inclusion for the broadest possible audience. We work alongside you to audit, review and implement accessibility, plus train your staff in best-practice digital access.
Vision Australia’s Digital Access consultancy is recognised internationally as an industry leader in online accessibility. With expert knowledge of accessibility conformance, inclusive design and the needs of people with disability or impairment, Digital Access has spent over 15 years helping organisations make their digital assets accessible to everyone.
Digital Accessibility Centre (DAC) is a 100% non-profit profit Social Enterprise providing high quality accessibility testing and solutions services AND providing disabled people with sustainable, permanent employment in an office/team environment. The former helps us to achieve the latter.
25 of our 29 staff have disabilities and many use assistive technologies to access websites. They work together as a team, checking web sites, mobile Apps, e-learning platforms, intranets, internal-applications and in fact anything digital and their test results supplement our expert technical compliance findings to provide robust test results for our clients. We work with many UK government agencies, testing digital products to make sure they are accessible to as many customers as possible. All profits made are reinvested in the business to ultimately increase the amount of disabled staff we are able to employ.
Adelphi Digital is an international award-winning digital consultancy. We help our clients create new and effective systems suitable for the challenges of modern business. We deliver user-centric business strategy, communication platforms, content, and design and build services for clients around the globe. Fundamental to everything we do is the importance of properly understanding the clients we work with. This client-centric approach has become central to the way we work, based on 3 core beliefs: multi-disciplinary teams, an iterative approach and independent thinking.
